TREASURY PROGRAM MANAGER This role will be an integral part of Treasury's Global Investments Team and report directly to the Director of Investments.
Primary Responsibilities will include: Investment Portfolio Analysis: Assist in both the strategic and tactical management of Cisco's multi-billion dollar Cash and Investments portfolio by leveraging capital markets' knowledge, bank counterparty relationships and a variety of risk management techniques. External Manager of Managers Role: Assist in managing the day to day interaction and communication with over 15 external cash, fixed income and public equity asset managers in areas such as portfolio management and performance review. Internal Fixed Income and Public Equity Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage Cisco multi-billion dollar internally managed fixed income and public equity portfolios while adhering to tax, accounting and legal requirements. Share Repurchase Program: Direct and manage Cisco's external partners for the execution of the Company's multi-billion dollar share repurchase program. Drive Operational Efficiencies: Suggest and implement new systems solutions to further automate and streamline processes while facilitating daily activities. Effective Partnering: Work closely with external investment managers and internal organizations (i.e. Accounting, Tax, Legal, Business Development) to ensure timely and accurate communication between groups.
Qualifications:
Required Skills: BA/BS required; MBA or CFA preferred. 5+ years work experience (or 3+ years with an MBA) in finance, treasury or banking; prior capital markets experience a plus. Strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to work independently, take on responsibility and drive results in a fast-paced and change oriented environment. Must effectively partner with internal and external client groups to identify and implement key strategic initiatives. Good understanding of systems and technology.
